Today we’re taking a look at the completely Instagram-worthy wedding of Caroline and Colm that took place in the gorgeous surrounds of Ballymascanlon House Hotel. The cute, vintage feel of the day was captured perfectly by photographer extraordinaire Peter Carvill.
Caroline and Colm chose the stunning countryside venue, Ballymascanlon House, for their big day knowing that it would tick all the right boxes. They got great service and amazing food, and this is exactly what they wanted. The photos turned out to be awesome! There were many DIYs realize for the wedding including the aisle decor with burlap ribbons and flowers.
The bride was wearing an off the shoulder wedding dress with a textural bodice and a flowy skirt, a simple wavy half updo with fresh blooms. If you’re a groom-to-be thinking about rocking something extra dapper for your big day, this is a wedding suit you need to see! He was wearing a burgundy suit with a navy tie – such an interesting look! The bridesmaids were wearing soft blush pink dresses, romantic and very chic. The wildflower-style bouquet was designed in shades of pink and burgundy that matched the wedding perfectly.
The couple combined the art of compromise with the art of cakemaking; the bride surprised the groom with a tailor-made cake by Lisa at 27 Cakes, which incorporated his love of Mario from Nintendo, so it was lovely to see his face on the day.
