Magical Harry Potter Wedding In The Mountains

The wedding we are sharing today is a unique one, it’s gonna be a feast for your eyes. The first part of it was a gothic Romanian city hall wedding; a week later, the second part was “Harry Potter in the mountains” themed reception; and finally an after-wedding photo session in Ireland, where they now live.

Their church service and civil bit took place a week before the main reception, giving guests a chance to enjoy a weekend in the mountains, the couple paid for their guests’ accommodation. The ceremony was all about autumn details.

The bride made her bouquet herself, she rocked fall-colored blooms and foliage and added peppers to the groom’s boutonniere. Her dress was a vintage velvet one with some hand-sewed macrame details on the neckline. The couple was wearing crowns.

The wedding venue looked absolutely unique at night: part wedding, part immersive theatre experience, part club night. The couple chose deep, autumnal tones and leafy foliage everywhere, making everything look totally grand and Hogswarts-esque. The backdrop of the photo booth bore the infamous Dumbledore and Snape quote “After all this time?” “Always”, and the bridesmaids wore Harry Potter shirts. The wedding cake was a naked one topped with exquisite blooms.

For the reception the bride was wearing a lace embellished sheath wedding dress with a cape and a high neckline plus a half updo with a braided halo. She covered up with a faux fur shawl. The groom was wearing a brown three-piece tweed suit with an emerald tie.
