Today we want to tell you the wedding story of Alanna and Nuge. They were married in Braemar, Scotland, the place with a breathtaking view. It was a very private micro wedding with just five guests — their parents and the bride’s Nana. The bride and groom chose the Fife Arms Hotel as a venue for their special day, and the ceremony itself was short but very touching and adorable: they did a very popular and traditional ritual — a handfasting, after that they «tied the knot» of their family tartans and drank from a quaich filled with Whisky which was a gift from friends.
This Scottish hotel is a venue with a great atmosphere, so there was no need of many decor elements. You can see only floral decor details such as a table centerpiece with colorful tulips, roses and a greenery by Hays Flowers. The wedding cake was decorated by real flowers too. It was a black one tier cake with pink, red and white roses, a greenery and blackberries.
The bride never wanted a white wedding dress so she chose a unique and gorgeous Enzoani Joselina black sleeveless maxi one from Blush Bridal shop. She mixed it with Dr Marten boots, a necklace and a headpiece from Etsy and an emerald faux fur jacket. The groom wore his family tartan.
All photos were taken by Cara Mitchell Photography, and now you can see how happy bride, groom and their guests were that day.
