One of the coolest things about eloping is that you and your partner can venture to more remote places, instead of finding a venue that accommodates a large party. Today we are sharing a beautiful and inspiring elopement, after which you are sure to feel like eloping somewhere!

Lucy and Liam hired A Través del Espejo for an elopement with the Japanese idea of wabi-sabi with some artistic aesthetics. The elopement was all about focusing on finding the beauty within the imperfections and accepting the cycle of growth and decay.

The elopement took place in abandoned marble quarries in Spain, and all the imperfections of the place were artistically highlighted and the decor looked elegant and modest. To complement the vast marble slabs, the team designed unstructured floral compositions and utilized a ton of natural materials — making sure everything remained authentic. The color palette was of blues, blacks, browns, and grays, with just a pop of color from the bride’s bouquet.

The bride was wearing a two piece grey wedding dress with a blouse made of soft tulle and the skirt composed by of cotton and layers of tulle fishnet layers. The groom was wearing a cool grey suit, a black tee and white sneakers.

The dessert table showed off a buttercream one-tier wedding cake topped with a white bloom and eucalyptus, a berry cake and berry pies – so cool!
