The inspiration and theme for this wedding décor was Norwegian spring and the apple trees in bloom along fjords. The color scheme is very tender, light and full of charm: blush pink, green, azure and dark blue. The bride’s makeup and hairstyle remind me of some Scandinavian Valkyries from the legends. The peculiar thing is a blue groom’s suit though a black or a grey suit is more traditional. The incredible desserts crafted by Sweet Sugar Boy Ed reflect those pale spring hues, topped with sugar flowers so beautiful you would swear they are real. As a final touch, the beautiful handcrafted invitations were made to resemble ‘Rosemaling’, a traditional Norwegian folk art style of painting that uses elegant, flowing shapes and floral designs.
