Moroccan Street Market Inspired Elopement

This wedding shoot was inspired by Moroccan street markets and proved you may create your own little Morocco anywhere

This wedding shoot was inspired by Moroccan street markets and proved you may create your own little Morocco anywhere

This inspiring elopement will show you that even if the magical streets of Morocco are calling your name but you can’t afford that, you may create a similar space for your wedding at home!

Maddox & Rose began with a blank canvas (in Louisville, Kentucky—you’d never guess it!) and designed an experience akin to the traditional Moroccan street market. The constantly changing light added an extremely unique element to the shoot. The light beaming through the single wall of industrial windows added an aura of mystery to many of the details, with its harsh direct light and looming shadows. The ceremony backdrop was a teal wall adorned with hand-woven baskets. The simple-yet-stunning florals brought a breath of life into the dreamy space. The invitation suite was an acrylic one, paired with leather accents for a touch of modern influence.

The couple lounged among ornate rugs and furniture, genuine leather goods and decorative accents. The abundance of patterns and textures created a lively backdrop—almost as if they were strolling through the local shops!

The bride was wearing a show-stopping Rue De Seine ‘Adelia Lune’ gown with hand-knotted fringed bell sleeves and unique lace overlay. Her makeup featured a red lip, and she was wearing matching fringe earrings. The groom was rocking a trendy three-piece suit and a trendy top knot. Take a look at the gorgeous pics below and get inspired!
