Malibu was chosen as the place of the shoot because the coastline features a lot of golden tones and of course the weather is so beautiful year round. The stylists wanted to highlight the landscape and took much inspiration from the natural surroundings. They started with an engagement session at Matador beach and were so in love with the beautiful golden hues as the sun was setting.
The wedding shoot was taken at Malibu Rocky Oaks Vineyard because it has breathtaking views. Siren Floral Co. brought in so many different floral textures and elements – it looked so heavenly! Amorology designed a colorful and refreshing palette of mustards, golds, creams and whites pulling in so many beautiful stylish pieces. There was an assortment of modern plain wedding cakes that were decorated with mustard and suspended instead of placing a usual dessert table.
The bride was first wearing a long flowy Carolina Herrera skirt with a mustard cami creating the perfect engagement outfit. Her second look was done with a modern wedding dress with a ruffle neckline and a racerback with a single ruffle in the center.
