This couple went for an exotic wedding in Thailand and enjoyed a spiritual ceremony, a beautiful sunset and all the fun possible
Tarrah and Greg are an adventurous couple, so an elopement in Phuket, Thailand was a natural fit. Their decision to tie the knot in Thailand was inspired by Greg’s proposal to Tarrah over some spicy Thai food.
The couple chose Phuket because they wanted an exotic beach location, and they wanted an authentic Thai experience. They wanted to experience a taste of Thai culture and, and with so many other islands close by, the local markets, the temples, it just seemed like they could see a little bit of everything in this location since we only had a few weeks to explore it. Planning a wedding half way around the world in a place you have never been was a little crazy. The couple were very nervous and excited. They had never traveled this far internationally and all of the time and effort we spent planning for one incredible day was a bit overwhelming.
The groom was wearing a bright blue suit, a white button down and a rust tie. The bride was rocking a strapless embellished bodice wedding dress with a plain skirt plus a wavy half updo. The venue and set up was amazing, and the food was incredible. Just the scenery in the location was stunning with the sunset. The wedding cake was a white one with a gilded pineapple on top to mark that it’s an exotic wedding.
The wedding arch was created almost on the beach, it was decorated with greenery, bright rust and blue blooms
The guest list was limited and the families waited for the couple at home to celebrate altogether
The wedding bouquet was done with lots of greenery, rust and blue flowers, succulents and even peacock feathers
The reception was truly exotic, with lots of candles, gilded touches, lush florals and air plants and pineapples for decor
