DIY Ice Bucket With Eucalyptus Branches

Diy Ice Bucket With Eucalyptus Trees

An ice bucket will be a very stylish and original addition to your wedding décor, and you may easily make it yourself. The supplies are 2 liter plastic Ginger Ale bottle, several small rocks, 2 gallon plastic bucket, greenery and eucalyptus branches. Cut the top of the bottle, drop several small rocks in the base to weigh it down and placed it inside a straight sided 2 gallon plastic bucket. Pour tap water into the 2 gallon bucket around the inserted plastic bottle and using heavy duty florist tape to tape off the top so the plastic insert bottle stays firm in place. Add eucalyptus branches, vines and greenery during the freezing process. Turn the 2 gallon bucket on its side and run warm water around the outsides to loosen your ice bucket creation, it needs to be coaxed a little but eventually it slips out. This piece is great not only for your wedding but also for any party.
