This fun barefoot Tulum wedding was tying the knot of two travelers, so they wanted a destination wedding
They’ve traveled the world together, so it was only natural for Natalie and Jordan to grab their closest friends and family and head off to Tulum, Mexico for the destination wedding of a lifetime! With the help of event planners Tailored Events Las Vegas, N + J planned a colorful and eclectic day at Nest Tulum.
Most of the inspiration for the day came from the destination and melding the natural beauty of the tropical jungle and white sand beach of Tulum with Moroccan colors, deep earth tones; greens, reds, yellows. Adding playing touches like maracas, pampas grass, rugs, and bare feet were all things that we wanted to create a relaxed bohemian experience infused with the fun of Mexico. Florklore Studio designed a gorgeous boho circle arch of greenery and pampas grass while Archive Rentals provided all of the rustic furniture rentals.
Surprising our guests during cocktail hour with a donkey named Freida was a quirky and unique addition that the couple wanted to add to the wedding day to make it fun, exciting, and a bit their own! With Freida kicking off the reception festivities, it was time for guests to settle in for a night of dining and dancing. We love the Mexican flavor N + J put into all of the details of their destination wedding day.
N’s best babes donned Show Me Your Mumu dresses in a warm yellow color. We can’t think of a better shade for a festive destination wedding at the beach! Prep Tulum had everyone looking wedding day ready with boho waves and bronzed makeup looks. N was floating on air in her wedding dress with a frothy skirt and delicate floral overlay.
