Traditional Austrian Wedding In The 13th Century Church

Remember these guys? These are Lisa and Alex, who have spent the last two years travelling round the world getting married in every country they visit. Today we’ll have a look at their wedding number 56 in Austria. They got dressed in the traditional way – complementing outfits in green and red which are the traditional wedding colors in the region. The traditional Austrian ceremony took place in Buchbergkirche, the church that was first mentioned in documents in 1370. The couple couldn’t leave the amazing church without fulfilling the opportunity to skip through the long grass singing the hills are alive at the top of the lungs. Two people, one life!
