Playful Buddhist Wedding In San Francisco

Playful Buddhist Wedding In San Francisco

When these two cool Buddhists decided to get married, they wanted to bring more spirit into what they do, so the ceremony was paid particular attention. The couple wrote the vows and asked a friend who is a Buddhist priest to officiate, they were married in front of a drapery/flower/rock altar that a friend created. There were cafe lights to make the dining room smaller, a photo booth, a tea lounge in a back room and an open bar before the wedding. The couple was dressed rather simple – the Buddhists like simplicity and calmness. There was no particular theme or colors but the atmosphere was very relaxed and joyful.
